CVAs, through their extensivetraining combined with experience in tax, auditing, accounting for smallbusinesses, and financial analysis, have an excellent background for dealingwith the complexities involved in providing business valuation and litigationservices.
To become accredited, Karen Davis was required to successfully complete anintensive training and testing process. To maintain her certification, she must participate in continuingprofessional education each year, conduct herself within the ethical mandatesestablished by the profession and adhere to stringent industry standards. The services of CVAs are commonly used inlitigation, including calculation of economic damages, divorce, partnerdisputes, fraud investigations as well as valuations for estate and gift taxes,sale of a business, succession planning, bankruptcy, financing arrangements.
